EPS TURN-KEY PLANT

We manage the entire project from design to installation, serving as your single point of contact and delivering turn-key solutions.

Fully automated EPS production plant

Number of operators: 2 per shift (excluding forklift drivers for loading blocks and discharging pallets).

Semi-automated EPS production plant

Number of operators: Minimum 5-6 per shift (excluding forklift drivers for loading blocks and discharging pallets).

ADVANTAGES

  • High productivity through optimal plant logistics
  • Low production and life-cycle costs with high-quality equipment and utilities
  • Fast return on investment due to integrated project schedules
  • Equipment supplied with all required peripherals
  • Systems designed for fully automated operation
  • On-site commissioning and training of operating personnel
  • All from a single supplier with a defined contact point.

A new EPS production plant must be designed to take advantage of the latest technology and industrial experience.

VIRO’s extensive investment in research and development maintains the Group as a leading supplier to the EPS industry. This, coupled with experience from hundreds of references, enables the best offering in design, engineering, and total turn-key project management.

All our plants are covered by a risk assessment and are CE marked, the blockmoulds are executed according to pressure vessel certification and rated according to the P.E.D. European Directive 2014/68/EU.

Minimum Capacity and Investment for EPS Plants

EPS is a mass-market product, meaning production is only profitable when using high-automation machinery with low energy costs.

For EPS block and sheet production, we recommend a minimum capacity of 50 m³/h to ensure economic viability. For smaller quantities, the most cost-effective strategy is to source blocks locally and process them using a foam cutter.

EPS insulation sheet production using our shape moulding machines provides an entry point at slightly lower volumes starting with 30-40 m³/h.
